Situated on the right bank of river Ravi (Ranjit Sagar Dam). Surrounded by lush green fields, date palm trees and fresh blue water. When you sit near the shore, you feel the air, the rhythm of waves of water, the chirping of birds, calmness around the soak in the beauty of marvel all the more will take you to another world. The center of attraction which comes on the way is Atal Setu bridge. A lot of tourists seen here on weekends or in the spring/ winter season. How to Go

You can reach here by rail or airport. The nearest airport is the Jammu airport which is about 78 kilometers from the kathua district and it  takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. The closest railhead is Kathua Railway Station at Gobindsar. Kathua connects to Jammu and which in turn connects to the whole of India through Udhampur. 

About Road

The road is very winding as you go towards the mini goa beach. Some people have problems from the hills side area and winding way like they did not feel well. I recommend them taking their medicines and precautions before enjoying the trip.

Muketshwar Mahadev Temple

It is considered to be one of the most sacred places around Pathankot. According to legend, the Pandavas stayed in the caves for a night during their exile (Agyatvas), and it is said that some of the caves date to the time of the Mahabharata.
